Senior Data Platform Engineer (GCP)

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Salary: 9,600–22,000 PLN per month for a senior specialist position; 13,000–28,000 PLN per month for an expert position.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain hirify.global’s VISTA Data Analytics Fallback Platform.
• Develop and operate data processhirify.global, orchestration, storage, and metadata-management capabilities ushirify.global Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, Apache Iceberg, Trino, and object storage technologies.
• Implement replication, synchronization, reconciliation, backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity mechanisms for critical datasets and workloads.
• Build and optimize analytical and batch-processhirify.global pipelines ushirify.global cloud and data platform technologies.
• Improve observability through monitorhirify.global, logghirify.global, alerthirify.global, operational readiness, and on-call support.
• Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, security, and data engineerhirify.global teams on architecture decisions, engineerhirify.global standards, automation, and technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineerhirify.global, Platform Engineerhirify.global, Infrastructure Engineerhirify.global, or Site Reliability Engineerhirify.global.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the followhirify.global areas: data processhirify.global and analytics; data lake and storage; platform and infrastructure; or reliability and operations.
• Practical knowledge of relevant technologies includhirify.global Apache Spark, DBT, Python, SQL, BigQuery, Trino, Apache Iceberg, Hive Metastore, MinIO/S3-compatible object storage, Google Cloud Storage, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Keycloak, Ceph, hirify.globalress/networkhirify.global, monitorhirify.global, logghirify.global, alerthirify.global, data replication, backup and restore, and disaster recovery.
• Experience buildhirify.global, operathirify.global, or supporthirify.global modern data platforms and distributed data processhirify.global environments.
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow-based orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Keycloak, Ceph, or enterprise-scale platform services.
• Experience designhirify.global and operathirify.global large-scale data platforms.
• Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity, or fallback solutions.
• Experience with modern lakehouse architectures based on Apache Iceberg.
