Loan Servicer III Commercial Operations (Financial Statement Spreading)

What you will do

• Analyze borrower financial statements and supporting documentation and enter financial information into applicable financial analysis systems.
• Review and classify balance sheets, income statements, cash flow information, and other financial data according to established spreading conventions.
• Perform quality-control reviews, reconcile information to source documentation, and research or clarify discrepancies, missing information, and mapping issues.
• Process annual, interim, year-to-date, and other applicable financial statement periods.
• Prepare accurate financial information supporting credit decisions, annual reviews, covenant monitoring, risk analysis, and ongoing portfolio management.
• Manage assigned requests, maintain documentation, collaborate with Commercial Banking and Credit stakeholders, and guide less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or comparable experience.
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, or working with financial statements, accounting information, commercial credit, lending, or a related financial-services function.
• Working knowledge of balance sheets, income statements, cash flow concepts, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and appropriately research or escalate issues.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in Commercial Banking, commercial credit, underwriting, financial analysis, or commercial loan operations.
• Experience performing financial statement spreading or financial statement analysis.
• Experience with financial spreading, credit analysis, workflow, or case-management applications.
• Knowledge of commercial credit processes and financial spreading conventions.
• Experience reviewing complex borrower financial statements, tax returns, or supporting financial schedules.
