Focus on owning feature delivery from architecture through production, designing scalable REST and GraphQL contracts, and improving startup time, memory usage, rendering efficiency, and battery performance.

hirify.global is building a mental health platform that delivers personalized, evidence-based digital interventions to help academic institutions support students.

What you will do

Build, optimize, and maintain cross-platform iOS and Android applications with React Native.
Collaborate with backend engineers to design API contracts and integrate Node.js services through REST and GraphQL.
Work with AWS services supporting the mobile application ecosystem.
Profile and improve startup time, rendering efficiency, memory usage, JavaScript bundle size, and battery consumption.
Automate mobile release pipelines using GitHub Actions, Fastlane, and app store deployment tools.
Own features from architecture discussions through development, deployment, and production monitoring while communicating with cross-functional teams, management, and clients.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience delivering production-grade iOS and Android applications with React Native.
Solid experience integrating Node.js backends through REST and GraphQL, including designing scalable API contracts.
Hands-on experience with AWS services relevant to mobile backends.
Deep understanding of profiling and optimization techniques for startup times, memory leaks, rendering cycles, and battery performance.
Strong experience with modern mobile testing frameworks, such as React Native Testing Library.
Experience establishing and maintaining mobile continuous integration and deployment workflows with GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflows.
Ability to lead feature delivery independently from idea to launch and communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders and external clients.
Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher English.
