TL;DR
Technical Lead - Mobile (React Native) (React Native/TypeScript): Leading the development and delivery of large-scale mobile applications with an accent on technical leadership, scalable engineering practices, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on mentoring mobile engineers, evaluating technology stacks, integrating systems, and applying mobile security, cloud, automation, and emerging AI technologies.

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of mobile software development engineers and promote collaborative engineering practices.
  • Provide technical direction and oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale mobile applications.
  • Develop technical strategies, evaluate tools and frameworks, and recommend technology stacks and system integrations.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, deliverables, stakeholder communication, and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
  • Maintain compliance controls, identify risks, and contribute to internal and external engineering knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in mobile application development or cross-platform technologies, including at least 2 years in technical leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, presentation, requirements analysis, and solution conceptualization skills.
  • Strong experience with React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, software engineering principles, test automation frameworks, and Expo.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated successful project delivery and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence in the technology community.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge or experience with Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, or other programming languages relevant to mobile and AI development.
  • Expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning and natural language processing.
