Team Lead SAP Security

hirify.global is hiring for a leadership role within its Security Second Line IT organization.

What you will do

• Lead and work as part of the SAP Security team, with an approximately 50/50 split between people leadership and hands-on domain work.
• Build and manage a high-performing team of approximately five professionals, including coaching, development, accountability, and engagement.
• Own the SAP Security second-line vision, roadmap, capability maturity plan, operating model, and risk-reduction initiatives.
• Provide independent challenge, assessments, risk reviews, oversight, advisory support, and recommendations on security risks and control effectiveness.
• Act as the primary focal point for SAP security audits, regulatory reviews, assurance activities, and complex escalations.
• Develop policies, standards, control frameworks, reporting, dashboards, and metrics while driving automation, standardization, and security-by-design initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information security, computer science, engineering, business information technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SAP security, risk management, audit, or assurance functions.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and high-performing team-building capability in multidisciplinary and international environments.
• Deep SAP Security expertise across SAP authorization concepts, SAP GRC, SoD controls, SAP Identity & Access Management, and security governance in complex enterprise SAP environments.
• Experience with security governance, risk management, control design, compliance, and audit evidence.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across teams, departments, and sectors, including collaboration with engineers, architects, audit, senior management, and boards.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain complex technical risks to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Resilience and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations is required before beginning work.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, HANA, BTP, and SAP cloud services.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, SAP Security certification, or equivalent.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, project management, and Agile.
