Lead Program Manager (Developer Education)

What you will do

• Lead the curation of documentation for engineering platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, usability, discoverability, and regular updates.
• Develop and curate onboarding materials, e-learning courses, tutorials, developer guides, and other learning resources.
• Design learning pathways that help engineers onboard, build proficiency, and continue developing in their roles.
• Partner with engineering, product, platform, and subject-matter teams to identify knowledge gaps and coordinate documentation and learning deliverables.
• Establish content standards, templates, and review processes for maintaining high-quality resources.
• Define and report on content quality and learning effectiveness, using feedback, engagement data, and performance insights to improve programs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical writing, developer education, technical program management, or a related field.
• Proven experience creating API documentation, developer guides, and platform-focused content.
• Strong command of Markdown, HTML, and documentation tools such as Hugo, Confluence, GitLab, or GitHub.
• Experience with Git-based content workflows.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to different developer personas, including backend, SRE, ML, and mobile engineers.
• Ability to manage multiple content tracks, coordinate deliverables and timelines, define requirements, track progress, and surface blockers across engineering and product teams.
• Experience in a developer platform or internal tooling context.
• Background in content strategy, information architecture, or developer communities.
• Experience using analytics to improve content and measure developer engagement, plus familiarity with technical program or project management practices such as roadmaps, OKRs, and cross-team coordination.
