Global Events Manager (Biotech)

Location: Cambridge, United Kingdom; fully remote from home with 25% national and international travel.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of global events, including logistics, operations, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite delivery.
• Develop and execute integrated event marketing strategies to drive awareness, registration, engagement, and post-event impact.
• Partner with marketing, sales, product, and regional stakeholders to align event objectives with business priorities and measurable commercial results.
• Create brand-consistent experiences that strengthen customer loyalty and engagement.
• Use customer insights, feedback, and market trends to design programs that address audience challenges and facilitate scientific and technical conversations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or university degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
• Experience in project and budget management.
• Experience in biotech, specializing in events.
• Knowledge of current event automation technology and customer experience practices.
• Knowledge of analytics and ROI reporting.
• Ability to travel 25% nationally and internationally.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
