Creative Director

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid workplace

Base salary: $130,000–$160,000 per year; annual bonus potential

What you will do

• Define and evolve brand visual expression through style guides, templates, toolkits, and reusable systems covering typography, layout, imagery, and other brand elements.
• Lead creative strategy and design across marketing campaigns, email, advertising, social media, and other consumer touchpoints.
• Shape the creative direction of Punchbowl and Lovebird digital stationery collections, translating data insights and business priorities into briefs and reviewing work through execution.
• Lead, manage, coach, and develop designers and illustrators while fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Shape creative tools, systems, workflows, asset management, collaboration practices, and AI adoption; guide motion and video work from concept through final evaluation.
• Own priorities, resources, deadlines, dependencies, feedback, and bottlenecks while contributing hands-on and ensuring final work is polished, accurate, and on-brand.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in brand or multidisciplinary design, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, creative range, and sophisticated taste.
• Experience leading and managing creative teams, including coaching, developing talent, and driving accountability for high-quality creative output.
• Deep expertise in brand design, including typography, layout, visual identity, style guides, templates, and visual systems.
• A strong point of view on creative systems and workflows, including team design and collaboration, asset management, emerging tools, and AI.
• Advanced expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop.
• Fluency in bringing brands to life through motion and video, including concepting, briefing, and evaluating work across formats.
• Experience briefing and guiding designers, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and other creative partners.
• Exceptional creative judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and move between creative leadership and hands-on execution.
