Facilities Management / Security Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Los Angeles, California, US; on-site support at defense contractor facilities, operations centers, and other defense contractor facilities.

Salary: $185,000–$235,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain accredited or accreditable TS/SCI SCIF and SAPF environments for Government and Contractor personnel.
• Maintain multi-level data services, IT infrastructure, network bandwidth, and access to near-real-time classified operational and experimental data feeds.
• Advise the Government on security documentation, facility accreditation and co-use approvals, individual program access approvals, and security program plans.
• Coordinate facility space allocation, collocation procedures, facility usage agreements, work orders, relocations, modernization, and daily maintenance.
• Support construction, design, retrofitting, security compliance, and accreditation of TS/SCI SCIF and SAPF environments.
• Provide on-site support to defense contractor facilities and operations centers while coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, partners, IC, Department of War, and security agency staffs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• TS/SCI eligibility.
• 20+ years of experience in Department of War Human Resources and Information Technology/Telecommunications and Facility Management in a SCIF environment; NRO, NSA, and/or NGA experience is acceptable.
• Extensive experience with facility security accreditation or co-use approvals for TS/SCI SCIF and SAPF environments, including maintaining accreditation for Government and Contractor personnel.
• Expertise coordinating facility space allocation, collocation procedures, facility usage agreements, work orders, relocations, and facility modernization.
• Experience establishing operational strategies aligned with acquisition strategies and planning, executing, and sustaining secure mission infrastructure, including facility space allocation, high-availability networks and IT systems, and end-to-end construction, security compliance, and accreditation of TS/SCI SCIF and SAPF environments.
• Experience coordinating daily maintenance, space allocation, and Facilities Utilization Board execution.
• Experience managing construction, design, and retrofitting of TS/SCI SCIFs and SAPFs in accordance with ICD 705.
• Experience securing and maintaining critical facility security accreditations, initiating and maintaining Host Tenant Support Agreements, and using RAMS/ARCHIBUS.
