QA Engineer (FinTech)

Location: Kazakhstan. Work options include fully remote, office-based, or hybrid arrangements.

Salary: EUR 850–1150 gross per month. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, UAT, and Shift-Left testing of corporate banking systems.
• Test web and mobile applications, REST APIs, and new product releases.
• Analyze requirements, assess quality risks, and create test cases, checklists, scenarios, and bug reports.
• Investigate defects using SQL, databases, logs, browser DevTools, and diagnostic tools.
• Track defects through resolution and collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in manual QA.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications and banking or digital banking solutions.
• Knowledge of test design techniques, including equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, pairwise testing, and state transition testing.
• Confident SQL skills, including CRUD operations, JOINs, aggregate functions, and relational database concepts.
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman and SoapUI, plus Jira, Confluence, TMS, Git, Kibana, Graylog, and browser DevTools.
• English at Intermediate level or above and availability to work from Kazakhstan.
