High-Lift Component Loads Engineer (d/f/m)

Location: Bremen Area, Germany; on-site role with flexible working arrangements and mobile working options where possible.

What you will do

• Calculate, interpret and deliver external static and fatigue loads acting on high-lift devices in accordance with airworthiness regulations, quality processes and programme assumptions.
• Support wing, high-lift and high-lift systems design teams in using loads data.
• Support flight-test campaigns and validate load calculations.
• Improve analysis capabilities and develop bespoke engineering tools and processes.
• Coordinate with project managers, specialists, airframe customers, suppliers and transnational stakeholders.
• Perform Loads & Aeroelastics analyses for in-service events, troubleshoot flight-test and production issues, and provide on-call Loads In-Service Support.

Requirements

• University degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good understanding of flight physics.
• Basic knowledge of Python and version control, such as Git.
• Team-oriented approach with interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
• Ability to develop effective customer relationships.
• Basic project management experience.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of static, fatigue, systems or dynamic analysis.
