Commercial Contracts Specialist - Legal Ops

Location: Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, Brazil; onsite Monday–Thursday and remote on Friday.

What you will do

• Own and maintain the database of hirify.global revenue-generating agreements across LATAM, North America, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring complete and reliable data.
• Build solutions for tracking expirations, pricing terms, SLAs, non-standard clauses, obligations, and contractual risk.
• Create reports, dashboards, operational metrics, and insights for Sales, CX, Finance, leadership, and growth strategy.
• Improve contracting speed and efficiency by reducing SLA and deal-cycle time and managing cross-functional legal operations projects.
• Integrate contract workflows with CRM, Slack, e-signature, and productivity tools; administer and evolve the CLM system.
• Implement AI and automation for intake, triage, review, data extraction, and reporting, and train local teams to adopt these solutions.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience, including solid hands-on legal operations experience at a multinational company managing contracts across multiple languages and jurisdictions.
• Availability to work onsite Monday–Thursday in the Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience implementing legal technology, automation, or efficiency solutions end to end, from problem diagnosis through adoption.
• Advanced or fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English; both languages will be assessed during interviews.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, CRM platforms, and AI agents.
• Experience implementing or administering CLM platforms.
• Strong data skills, including database structuring, report and dashboard development, and AI literacy.
• Ability to read commercial contracts and translate legal terms into structured business data; autonomy, prioritization, clear communication, attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality and data integrity.

Nice to have

• Law degree.
• Advanced Spanish proficiency.
• Experience with DocuSign and HubSpot.
