Data Analysts - Financial & Payment Controller (Fintech)

What you will do

• Manage payment and financial data projects across the full lifecycle, from analysis through execution.
• Oversee timely and accurate reconciliations across multiple workflows in collaboration with the finance team.
• Monitor third-party providers, including processors, acquirers, and banking partners, against contractual SLAs; escalate deviations and support reporting for stakeholders and audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external banks, acquirers, and processors to resolve inquiries and improve operations.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks; check bank and acquirer integrations, manage incidents, and troubleshoot processing errors using internal tools.
• Validate invoices from acquirers, processors, and card schemes, ensuring accurate charges and revenue attribution.

Requirements

• Experience managing payment and financial data projects from analysis through execution.
• Ability to ensure operational accuracy, safeguard payment integrity, comply with SLAs, and mitigate risks in a regulated environment.
• Experience with reconciliation workflows and collaboration with finance teams.
• Ability to monitor third-party providers and validate performance against contractual SLAs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external banks, acquirers, processors, and other payment partners.
• Ability to collect and refine business and technical requirements, investigate processing errors, manage incidents, and improve operational processes.
• Ability to validate invoices and ensure accurate charges and revenue attribution.
