Consumer Underwriter (3 Months FTC)

Location: Remote, London (GB)

Electric vehicle leasing business building in-house underwriting capabilities and technology for B2B and consumer credit risk.

What you will do

• Manage the day-to-day credit and underwriting process.
• Review and manage credit escalations and referrals.
• Make underwriting decisions for clients not captured by the automated underwriting process, up to an agreed limit based on experience.
• Support the development of consumer scorecards, underwriting policies, processes, and systems.

Requirements

• Willingness to process and evaluate credit applications ranging from consumers to larger corporate clients.
• Ability to interpret credit application information, including client accounts and KPIs.
• Experience in an underwriting role.
• Knowledge of credit policies.
• Familiarity with automated credit decisioning platforms such as Lending Metrics.
• Experience in vehicle leasing.
