Intern: AI for Smarter ATE Test Development & Debug (AI)

What you will do

• Explore how AI and automation can improve ATE test development, debugging, and engineering workflows.
• Analyse test methods, test programs, logs, and results to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop Python-based tools and AI prototypes to support test development and debugging.
• Investigate automatic anomaly detection and AI-assisted root cause analysis for test results.
• Improve the presentation and usability of test information, debug data, and results.
• Collaborate with test engineers to validate solutions on real engineering use cases.

Requirements

• Final-year engineering student.
• Engineering background in electronics, microelectronics, embedded systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Basic programming skills.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and data-driven engineering.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Python experience.
• Exposure to semiconductor testing or validation.
• Basic knowledge of digital or analogue electronics.
• Experience with data analysis or software development.
• Interest in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and silicon validation.
