Sr. Manager, AI Product Engineer (AI)

Location: Greece—Thessaloniki, Chortiatis; hybrid work location assignment. Other locations: Europe—Any hirify.global Site.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and ship core product capabilities, including AI-native flows involving models, tools, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Own the technical quality and delivery of significant product areas, acting as technical lead for a product slice through sequencing, code review, and quality management.
• Partner with AI Product Owners and product and design stakeholders to shape scope, identify technical risks, and improve learning speed and operability.
• Work with DevOps on CI/CD, environments, production readiness, and shared studio engineering patterns.
• Instrument features and use data and failure traces to improve product performance and reliability.
• Mentor AI Product Engineers through pairing, critique, examples, demos, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping and iterating production systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML or generative AI into product features.
• Ability to lead technically without formal authority, including sequencing, review, and coaching.
• Strong fundamentals in APIs, data, testing, and debugging distributed web systems.
• Excellent collaboration with product and design in iterative, ambiguous environments.
• Clear written and verbal communication; CV must be submitted in English.

• Experience as a tech lead on a squad or pod.
• Familiarity with modern AI platforms and at least one major cloud.
• Healthcare, pharma, or other regulated-industry experience.
• Mentoring or informal people-development experience.
• Previous consulting or senior product-engineering experience.
