Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Base pay: $209,500–$283,500 per year in Mountain View. Additional compensation may include a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and deploy machine learning models using analytical algorithms and deep learning.
• Lead work across machine learning, NLP, statistics, and optimization while contributing hands-on.
• Create capabilities that solve critical business problems in marketing audiences, brand management, generative engine optimization, price optimization, creative generation and optimization, and digital twins.
• Develop foundational methods and novel applications based on state-of-the-art machine learning technologies and industry trends.
• Lead teams and partners through the successful delivery and integration of machine learning solutions.
• Conduct design reviews, ensure technical and operational rigor, evaluate ROI, and communicate AI science to technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD or MS in engineering mathematics, statistics, theoretical or computational physics, or a related field.
• Prior experience or qualifications in data, marketing and sales platforms, or media management.
• Solid knowledge of statistical techniques.
• Hands-on programming experience and expert knowledge in one or more of machine learning, NLP, statistics, or optimization.
• 3+ years of experience manipulating large datasets and using databases such as R, SQL, or S-Plus.
• 3+ years of experience with a general-purpose programming language such as Python or Scala.
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with machine learning pipelines, processes, and design patterns.
• Proven experience influencing business leaders and executives to shape mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience leading teams to successful delivery of machine learning solutions, with strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Background in cognitive sciences or human psychology, including consumer, buyer, supporter, detractor, or group behavioral sciences.
