Senior Design Manager, Retail Stores

Location: Remote, United States; travel multiple times per month required.

Annual base pay: USD 139,816–159,101, with potential additional equity, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation.

What you will do

• Develop the strategy, concepts, and architectural drawings for physical retail stores, including store footprints, fixture development, and architecture partnerships.
• Translate the store design process into executable plans and timelines for brand, visual merchandising, operations, safety, and facilities stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a network of architects and millworkers supporting store design.
• Partner with store teams to align design with brand, marketing, merchandising, and store operations objectives.
• Work with Real Estate, Builds, and Stores leadership to set design objectives and timelines by brand and site.
• Manage design iterations, project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8+ years of experience in general business, spatial design, or project management, including project management and large-scale physical retail design.
• Strong business management skills and the ability to create and lead strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Ability to implement strategic plans and drive results across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced learning environment.
• Senior stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Ability to travel multiple times per month.
