Client Servicing Payments, Global Banking

Location: Jersey City, NJ; hybrid. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $118,450–$160,000 per year; discretionary bonus may include an equity component.

What you will do

• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex, high-risk, and time-sensitive payment investigations and client issues.
• Lead cross-border payment investigations and resolution efforts with Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Sanctions teams.
• Advise senior stakeholders, Relationship Managers, and institutional clients on payment servicing matters and industry developments.
• Establish servicing standards, operating procedures, governance frameworks, and best practices for Payments Client Services and Global Banking.
• Analyze servicing trends and lead client service reviews, remediation efforts, operational enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and payment modernization projects.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to Client Payment Liaison Consultants and Senior Consultants.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in payments, treasury services, correspondent banking, institutional banking, or client servicing.
• Extensive experience handling complex payment investigations and advising institutional clients.
• Expert knowledge of payment investigations, exception processing, payment operations, and market infrastructure.
• Expert knowledge of compliance, sanctions, regulatory considerations, SWIFT MT, and ISO 20022 messaging.
• Proven experience driving strategic initiatives, process improvements, and service enhancements.
• Recognized subject matter expertise with experience influencing business outcomes and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent client relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
