Multi-Asset & Alternative Investment Analyst

Location: Chicago, United States; hybrid work with four days in the office each week in most locations.

Salary: $117,500–$172,350 total annual cash compensation, inclusive of annual base salary and target incentive.

What you will do

• Develop forward-looking ratings and clear opinions on funds and other investment vehicles by researching management teams, strategies, parent companies, performance, and expenses.
• Research and rate funds, 529 savings plans, model portfolios, and separately managed accounts within the Multi-Asset and Alternative Investment asset class team.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis using internal databases, regulatory information, portfolio manager interviews, and on-site due diligence visits to asset-management firms.
• Author and edit analytical research reports, articles, and industry studies.
• Discuss ratings and reports with external institutional clients and internal investment management groups.
• Represent hirify.global at media engagements, conferences, industry associations, and regulatory discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated expertise as a manager research analyst in multi-asset and alternative investments.
• Passion for investing and helping investors make better investment decisions.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at times and collaboratively at other times.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
• Interest in pursuing a graduate degree or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
