Salary: $108,160–$162,240 annually. Geographic-specific ranges include $118,960–$178,440 and $124,400–$186,600 USD.

What you will do

• Conduct initial and ongoing qualitative and quantitative research on third-party asset managers, including investment teams, processes, performance, risk, factor attribution, and style consistency.
• Support the management of the $2.6 billion Active/Passive fund suite, including asset allocation, strategic and tactical positioning, and fund selection.
• Assist with trading operations, cash management, dealer relationships, commercial paper credit analysis, and oversight of sub-adviser brokerage practices.
• Support derivatives oversight by monitoring risk exposures, setting risk limits, reviewing sub-adviser risk processes, and overseeing market, counterparty, liquidity, leverage, valuation, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Prepare investment research reports, manager write-ups, portfolio attribution summaries, and market and economic commentary for mutual fund boards and investment committees.
• Participate in brokerage, proxy voting, derivatives oversight, pricing, and corporate actions committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Broad knowledge of markets, investments, economics, accounting, and investment tools such as Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, and Excel.
• Knowledge of current investment industry trends and experience researching or recommending mutual funds, ETFs, or SMAs for portfolios.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
• Relevant investment industry experience; 10 years of experience in investment research or investment and product evaluation is desirable.
• MBA and/or CFA designation and presentation experience are desirable.
