Sr. Staff Threat Intelligence Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site 5 days per week at designated Suno offices in Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, or San Francisco, United States. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Salary: $316,080–$414,855 annual base salary, plus target equity and benefits.

Suno is a consumer entertainment company building an AI music platform where users create and share music.

What you will do

• Investigate threat actors and campaigns targeting Suno, including account takeovers, payment fraud, and coordinated platform abuse.
• Analyze large-scale event and account data with Python and SQL to identify patterns, connect related activity, and assess emerging threats.
• Translate adversary tactics into detection, product, and architecture recommendations that engineering teams can implement.
• Brief security, trust & safety, and fraud leaders through both rapid situational updates and strategic assessments.
• Establish standards for threat intelligence collection, analysis, and tradecraft as the function grows.
• Help protect the Suno community and keep music creation safe, fun, and open.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in threat intelligence, with significant depth in at least two of security, trust & safety, and fraud.
• Strong threat intelligence fundamentals, including threat actor tracking, campaign attribution, OSINT, and linking related accounts and infrastructure.
• Hands-on Python scripting and SQL experience with large datasets to conduct investigations.
• Technical fluency in modern web and cloud architecture, including understanding how attacks work and how to disrupt them without necessarily shipping production code.
• Experience influencing engineering, product, and leadership teams without direct authority and turning findings into action.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI misuse, including account farming, API or reseller abuse, or automated content abuse.
• Background at a consumer platform or a company built on user-generated content.
• Experience partnering with engineers to design detection rules and abuse signals.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms or graph analysis tools.
