Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Salary: $170,000–$240,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own the mobile and platform development lifecycle from concept and scope definition through delivery, user testing, and launch.
• Rebuild the mobile experience from the ground up as an AI-native product using React Native.
• Develop and maintain complex applications, including mobile and full-stack functionality.
• Partner with operations, clinical, compliance, and product teams to solve real-world healthcare delivery problems.
• Lead technical excellence through work on product development, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, data security, and greenfield systems.
• Contribute to technical initiatives, product direction, and roadmap decisions as an early engineer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a proven record of building, scaling, and maintaining complex applications.
• Deep React Native expertise and the ability to provide architectural leadership for the mobile rebuild.
• A product-minded approach focused on intuitive end-user experiences for caregivers and patients.
• A strong engineering foundation and architectural thinking for solving difficult technical problems.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot, or Claude and helping establish an AI-native development culture.
• Backend development experience, particularly with Python, and familiarity with modern web frameworks.
• Knowledge of the Android environment and native Android development.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments with high ownership.
• Healthtech industry experience or strong personal motivation to build high-stakes software that improves human health and home care.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
