Associate Product Manager, Deploy Models (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Base salary: $90,000–$120,000 per year; stock options may be offered in addition.

Deploy is an AI infrastructure platform providing optimized inference for open-source and proprietary models, including models for content safety, deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and IP and publicity protection.

What you will do

• Support the roadmap, functional requirements, and development timelines for Deploy Models under senior product leadership.
• Assist with product execution from inception through delivery and help teams break projects into manageable parts.
• Work with Machine Learning, Core Infrastructure, and Product teams on cloud-hosted deep learning models for video, image, audio, and text interpretation.
• Develop an understanding of customer needs across industries and communicate product benefits to users and internal stakeholders.
• Help define new features, improve models continuously, track engineering velocity, and identify delivery best practices.
• Maintain data-handling awareness and follow information-asset protection policies, including reporting suspected security or policy violations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Some hands-on exposure to modern machine learning libraries, frameworks, and technologies through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of functional programming languages such as Python or Node.js.
• 0–2 years of combined Machine Learning and Product Management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a constantly changing, uncertain, and sometimes chaotic environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and hands-on working style.
• Interest in growing into a leadership role and eventually owning team goals and deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous product improvement beyond shipping new products.
