Principal QA Automation & AI Engineer

What you will do

• Own and scale Playwright web and Appium mobile automation frameworks, including architecture, stability, coverage, and maintainability.
• Build and maintain REST API test automation to validate integrations and identify defects earlier.
• Integrate and run automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Design AI-assisted workflows for test case generation, failure triage, flaky-test detection, and test-run analysis.
• Build agents and integrations using LLM APIs, MCP, Slack, and ClickUp to reduce manual QA work and provide quality signals for release decisions.
• Enable the QA team through documentation, pairing, and training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software QA or development, including at least 3 years building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong command of JavaScript and hands-on experience automating end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• Experience automating mobile tests with Appium.
• Experience integrating and running tests in CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Solid experience testing and automating REST APIs.
• Practical experience applying LLMs and AI tools to QA workflows, including AI coding assistants, LLM APIs, and agents, with measurable impact.
• Fluent English, autonomy, ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly, and ability to teach others.
