QA Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design test scenarios across mobile, web, and backend systems and investigate root causes of defects.
• Participate in product and technical grooming by identifying risks and challenging unclear requirements.
• Own regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing for assigned Scrum commitments.
• Collaborate with the Automation team to expand coverage, improve regression suites, and determine which tests should be automated or manual.
• Use AI tools and agents to create test scenarios, identify requirement gaps, and reduce repetitive manual work.
• Implement at least one AI-driven QA initiative by month six, measure its impact, and present the results to Engineering.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on QA experience, with demonstrated strength in test design, bug lifecycle management, and root-cause analysis.
• Demonstrated improvement of a measurable quality outcome through a testing initiative, automation effort, or bug-finding approach.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced technology environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity while maintaining ownership.
• Practical use of AI tools in QA or development, with a concrete example of improving testing, analysis, or productivity.
• Understanding of automation concepts and test frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Experience with complex products where mobile, web, and backend systems interact, including understanding of the related testing implications.
