Contractor QA Automation (Selenium/Java)

Location: Remote within the United States; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. C2C is not available.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, extending existing automation frameworks.
• Convert manual test cases into reliable, reusable automated scripts.
• Design, execute, and maintain GUI and API tests.
• Write SQL queries to retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot database data.
• Expand automation coverage, create reusable test data, and support regional processes and claims workflows.
• Collaborate with QA automation specialists and application engineers to troubleshoot failures and align scripts with application requirements; use Playwright and JavaScript when applicable.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily work, or a strong desire to experiment with, learn, and champion AI adoption.
• Ability to oversee projects and execute deliverables.
• Flexibility to adapt within a high-growth organization.
• Full understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Ability to lead, mentor, motivate, coach, and positively impact colleagues through presentations and effective leadership.

Nice to have

• Claude Certified Developer or Architect certification; an opportunity to obtain it may be available.
• Experience with Playwright and JavaScript for additional automation capabilities.
