Security Compliance Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; on-site

Base salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year; stock options may be offered separately.

Deploy is an AI intelligence infrastructure platform providing optimized inference for open-source and proprietary models, including content safety, deepfake detection, sponsorship intelligence, and IP and publicity protection.

What you will do

• Manage the risk management and comprehensive Governance, Risk and Compliance programs.
• Lead internal and external audits, including ISO and SOC compliance activities, documentation reviews, evidence collection, and follow-up.
• Implement and maintain the Information Security Management System in coordination with executive and mid-level management.
• Develop compliance reports, metrics, status updates, recommendations, and evidence for business stakeholders.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to improve change management, access management, technology controls, vendor security, and cloud security.
• Define and maintain security, privacy, and compliance policies; support security reviews, risk assessments, incident reporting, and secure technology adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
• At least 4 years of experience conducting risk-based assessments for information systems and/or operations.
• At least 1 year of experience running a comprehensive Governance, Risk and Compliance program.
• At least 2 years of experience leading ISO 27001 or SOC 1/2 audits from either side.
• Strong knowledge of applicable privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
• Thorough understanding of vulnerability management, penetration testing, and attack simulations.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide Security Compliance programs that anticipate, assess, and minimize control gaps and audit findings.
• Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with technical and non-technical audiences in a business-friendly manner.
• Demonstrated success in a competitive environment; self-motivated, ambitious, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Strong team player who can also work and execute independently, with an active willingness to learn and contribute.
