What you will do

• Design, execute, and interpret experiments studying cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors in ER+ breast cancer and other CDK4-dependent cancer models.
• Investigate strategies for reversing CDK inhibitor resistance.
• Prepare scientific presentations and publications.
• Interact with research collaborators.
• Supervise technicians or students as needed.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. with a solid background in cell cycle biology and an interest in translational research.
• Demonstrated ability to complete complex research projects during doctoral studies.
• Significant experience with standard laboratory techniques, including flow cytometry, tissue culture, PCR, and western blots.

Nice to have

• Experience with CRISPR and/or drug sensitivity screens.
• Experience working with patient-derived xenograft models.
