Lead Instructor: Cybersecurity

Location: Remote. Lectures follow UK time or ET schedules depending on the program.

What you will do

• Prepare and lead live virtual classroom sessions for cohorts ranging from 200 to 8,000+ learners.
• Teach foundational technical skills, including cybersecurity-related technical problem-solving, math, and verbal reasoning.
• Manage class-time Q&A, chat flow, pacing, learner engagement, and overall class energy.
• Collaborate with operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Assist with lesson design, curriculum updates, and course improvement through structured feedback.
• Provide responsive, empathetic support and make complex topics accessible to diverse learners.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or another related field.
• Degree in a technical field.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or a related certification such as CISM.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a remote environment.
• Experience training learners on foundational technical skillsets.
• Strong educator skills and a passion for teaching and helping others.
• Outstanding team and people management skills.
• Experience working with the Unix terminal, especially cybersecurity-related applications.
• Familiarity with networking, Kali Linux, endpoint security, CompTIA Security+ certification training, and triage.
