Field Program Manager (Active Top Secret Clearance)

Location: Hybrid/on-site at customer sites at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington; based in Tacoma, Washington, United States. Travel up to 25% of the time, including some international travel.

Base pay: $145,000–$185,000/year, plus equity grants and cash bonuses.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary program leadership presence for the NGC2 program with a U.S. Army Corps HQ.
• Own program delivery, customer relationships, and growth of hirify.global’ mission footprint within the formation.
• Plan and drive execution against the program roadmap with a small cross-functional project team.
• Lead complex, multi-stakeholder activities and maintain execution accountability across the program.
• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior military and civilian stakeholders across organizational levels.
• Identify and address program risks as hirify.global’ accountable field leader.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and sufficient technical fluency to engage software engineers and data scientists as an informed, non-technical counterpart.
• 4–6+ years of relevant professional experience with military operations at Division (2-star) level or higher.
• Experience as a former Field Grade Officer or Senior NCO is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience planning and directing complex, multi-stakeholder project activities.
• Proven leadership of small teams of 2–6 people in high-accountability environments.
• Experience building and sustaining rapport and trust with senior military and civilian stakeholders across organizational levels.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to operate credibly across Soldier-level and executive-level audiences.
• Active Top Secret U.S. security clearance.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification.

Nice to have

• Direct experience implementing or integrating battlefield technology within Army formations.
• Familiarity with DoD IT, network, and communications infrastructure as an operational reality.
• Working knowledge of agile software delivery practices and the ability to hold a technical team accountable to a cadence without micromanaging engineering.
• Meaningful exposure to ML/AI capabilities in operational or defense contexts.
• Prior customer success or account management experience with a defense technology vendor.
