Senior Technology Project Manager / Scrum Master

Location: Hybrid in Lafayette, Louisiana; Knoxville, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama; or Columbia, South Carolina, United States.

What you will do

• Lead a defined workstream within a larger enterprise technology program across the software development lifecycle.
• Manage schedules, requirements, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, delivery metrics, and executive status reporting.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, and support impediment removal.
• Coordinate user onboarding, communications, training, access, readiness, production support, and adoption.
• Coordinate with technical teams on data engineering, SQL, data pipelines, and Python in support of a financial modeling system.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing technology projects and 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
• Strong experience with project planning, schedule management, delivery governance, risks, issues, dependencies, and executive reporting.
• Experience coordinating SDLC activities, including requirements, development, testing, release readiness, deployment, and production transition.
• Scrum Master experience facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and impediment removal.
• Proficiency with Jira for managing backlogs, stories, defects, dependencies, risks, sprint progress, and delivery metrics.
• Experience using Confluence for project documentation, requirements, decisions, meeting notes, and release communications.
• Strong requirements management, traceability, documentation, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience coordinating user onboarding, training, access, readiness, support, and adoption.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for analysis, reconciliation, tracking, project controls, and reporting.
• Familiarity with data engineering concepts, SQL, data pipelines, and Python.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage projects of comparable scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience, particularly with financial modeling systems.
• PMP certification.
• Scrum Master certification.
