Agentic Developer (Consultant)

Location: Hybrid in Issaquah, Washington, United States, with up to four in-office days each week. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship and visa extensions are not available.

Annualized compensation: $110,000–$150,000, based on experience and alignment to the role.

What you will do

• Design, build, and deploy production-ready agents in code that serve users across enterprise functions.
• Build AI-driven workflow automation solutions on Microsoft Foundry and Azure, including identity and access, observability, evaluation, guardrails, and cost control.
• Create reusable agent and workflow templates that other teams can adopt and extend independently.
• Collaborate with a four-person delivery team through shared Azure DevOps repositories, pull requests, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, CI/CD, testing, validation, and infrastructure as code.
• Translate stakeholder use cases and business processes into scalable automation strategies and work with client development and QA teams to optimize agents.
• Support adoption through pilots, user feedback loops, change management, AI governance, support models, escalation paths, post-go-live ownership, and communication with technical and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in workflow automation, systems implementation, technical consulting, or solution engineering.
• Enterprise-level FTE experience or consulting experience supporting enterprise organizations is required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power Platform, workflow automation, or agent-based solution design.
• Experience building production-ready automation solutions rather than only strategy recommendations.
• Experience shipping agents or LLM-powered applications to production that were used by many people, not only by the candidate or their own team.
• Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript, plus hands-on Azure experience including Azure DevOps and Microsoft Foundry.
• Experience working in Agile teams with code reviews, shared repositories, handoffs, and deployment workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management, business process mapping, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to operate independently in high-visibility consulting environments and create technical documentation for onboarding users with little or no agent experience.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure as code experience with Terraform (HCL) or Bicep.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
• Experience with SharePoint, Power Automate, or Copilot Studio.
• Experience with agent evaluation, tool integrations such as MCP, or multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience with AI agents, Copilot, generative AI workflows, or enterprise AI implementations.
• Microsoft ecosystem experience, governance models, intake processes, rollout planning, Power Apps, Azure automation tools, or low-code enterprise solutions.
