Associate Network Architect (Cisco/Fortinet)

What you will do

• Contribute to global network architecture, design principles, technical standards, technology roadmaps, reference architectures, and technical documentation.
• Translate business, operational, and security requirements into scalable, secure, standardized network designs and progressively own architecture reviews and technical decisions.
• Design, configure, test, and optimize enterprise network solutions using Cisco, Fortinet, and related technologies.
• Develop network automation with Python, Ansible, Infrastructure as Code practices, standardized configurations, automated deployments, and Zero Touch Provisioning.
• Support Software-Defined Access, network segmentation, Zero Trust networking, high-performance infrastructure, warehouse implementations, migrations, and infrastructure modernization.
• Collaborate with global and regional digital teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, warehouse automation stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners; occasional international travel may be required.

Requirements

• Approximately 7+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including hands-on engineering and network design.
• Strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, wireless networking, and enterprise network technologies.
• Experience with network security, segmentation, and firewall technologies, preferably Fortinet.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network security principles.
• Experience designing and implementing complex, multi-site network environments.
• Experience with network scripting or automation, preferably Python or Ansible.
• Ability to develop technical designs, standards, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams and technical disciplines.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, Catalyst, and Nexus technologies.
• Knowledge of Software-Defined Access, Zero Trust networking, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA/Mellanox networking technologies.
• Experience with major network migrations, automated industrial environments, or logistics operations.
• Relevant Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent certifications.
• A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
