Cybersecurity Auditor (Network Security and Operational Technology)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; onsite role with 30% domestic and international travel. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: USD 124,600–148,200 annually.

What you will do

• Execute risk-based audits, advisory reviews, and assessments covering network security, firewall management, OT environments, segmentation, intrusion prevention, and cybersecurity controls.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls across enterprise networks, cloud environments, OT networks, industrial control systems, remote access, VPNs, DMZs, third-party connectivity, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Review firewall rules, network configurations, change management, network architecture, segmentation, monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident detection processes.
• Use data analytics and technology-enabled audit techniques to analyze firewall rulesets, traffic patterns, connectivity paths, security events, logs, and anomalous activity.
• Identify deficiencies, emerging threats, and cybersecurity risks; develop practical recommendations to improve network security, OT security, infrastructure resilience, and cybersecurity maturity.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Network Engineering, Infrastructure, Risk Management, Compliance, and business stakeholders; communicate findings, prepare reports, and support remediation validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Two to five years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, network security, IT audit, cybersecurity audit, firewall administration, network engineering, OT security, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, risks, controls, governance practices, network security concepts, and control frameworks.
• Understanding of network architecture, network segmentation and micro-segmentation, firewall administration and rule management, intrusion detection and prevention, network detection and response, VPNs, cloud network security, OT, industrial control systems, SCADA security, security monitoring, logging, and incident detection.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, risk-based auditing, internal controls, root cause analysis, issue validation, and regulatory compliance skills.

Nice to have

• Experience auditing or administering Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Juniper, Zscaler, Claroty, or similar technologies.
• Experience auditing Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud network security environments.
• Experience assessing OT, industrial control systems, manufacturing technology, SCADA, or critical infrastructure security controls.
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, COBIT, CIS Controls, or similar frameworks.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, Security+, CISM, or CCNP Security.
• Experience with AI governance, AI risk management, AI security, AI controls, AI governance frameworks, model risk, AI data protection, or AI-enabled audit tools.
