.NET Backend Engineer (iGaming)

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and evolve backend services and microservices using .NET and C#.
• Develop core domain flows for accounts, registration, authentication, wallets, and related business capabilities while maintaining backward compatibility.
• Build asynchronous and event-driven integrations, work with transactional relational data, and optimize query performance.
• Contribute to observability through logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and monitoring, and identify performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
• Manage Kubernetes deployment configurations and manifests in a GitOps setup, collaborating with DevOps on infrastructure changes including Terraform workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, QA collaboration, on-call rotation, and production incident response.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial backend development experience with C# and .NET 6+, .NET Core, or ASP.NET Core.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems, including asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, transactions, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework and with PostgreSQL will be useful for the role.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Good understanding of SOLID, separation of concerns, and testability.
• Understanding of observability and monitoring in production systems, plus experience troubleshooting performance and memory issues.
• English at Upper Intermediate level.
• Good communication skills, multitasking ability, quick task execution, teamwork, and responsibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Experience with Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
