Senior .NET Software Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid workplace

What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise software systems and translate business and technical requirements into application designs.
• Lead technical development teams, set software development standards, estimate development effort, and propose technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and quality, and collect and interpret software metrics.
• Manage configuration and releases, including deployment, change management, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.
• Develop testing tools, prototype solutions, and provide second- and third-line support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant IT professional experience.
• At least 3 years of project experience relevant to the profile or in a similar position.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
• At least one advanced-level software development technology certification or an internationally recognized equivalent accepted by the Contracting Authority.
• Completed at least one full solution lifecycle and demonstrated expertise developing enterprise-level software systems.
• Knowledge of UML and ability to design applications using UML; proficiency designing and developing data, business-logic, and UI layers.
• Experience working in Scrum, leading technical teams, documenting technical solutions effectively, and solving problems.
• Proven experience developing and supporting enterprise web applications with .NET Core/.NET 8, C#, Entity Framework, and SQL Server, as well as React/TypeScript single-page applications and Azure DevOps Pipelines build and deployment.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on Windows/IIS and containerized or virtualized platforms such as Nutanix and OpenShift; experience with Hangfire or similar background-job frameworks, ASP.NET Core Data Protection, certificate management, Checkmarx security scans, and penetration-test remediation.
• Experience integrating applications with SAML 2.0/Entra ID, PDF and image-processing libraries, and document-management interfaces; taking over externally delivered codebases through code review, technical-debt management, and third-line support.
• Experience supporting production systems in a large-organization context, including Change Advisory Board release management, UAT support, and incident analysis; readiness to work alongside a third-party development contractor during its third-level-support period.
