Director of Product Management (MSP)

What you will do

• Own the MSP product strategy, roadmap, pricing, packaging, launches, and competitive positioning.
• Conduct customer interviews, discovery calls, sales-call participation, and market research with MSP owners, technicians, and partners.
• Define success metrics and measure adoption, operational impact, and business results.
• Drive integrations across the PSA and RMM platforms used by MSP partners.
• Partner with Operations to prioritize automation for high-volume, high-cost work while maintaining service quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success; build the product development process and resolve customer issues.
• Hire, coach, and develop product managers as the team grows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years building products sold to or through MSPs.
• Deep understanding of how MSPs make money and deliver services, including the factors that affect margins.
• Experience leading people, ideally product managers; leadership experience in Engineering, technical, or Operations teams may also be considered.
• Experience taking AI or LLM-based features into production, or a strong understanding of what successful production implementation requires.
• Familiarity with the MSP technology ecosystem, including PSA, RMM, and IT documentation platforms.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with ConnectWise, Autotask/Datto, HaloPSA, N-able, NinjaOne, and Kaseya.
• Experience working at an MSP or IT service provider.
• Experience building technology-enabled service products where automation directly improves gross margin.
