Security Technical Program Manager (Threat-Informed Defense)

Location: Bellevue, Los Angeles, or Palo Alto, United States; expected to work in an office 4+ days per week under hirify.global's default-together policy.

Base salary: $162,000–$241,000 annually for Zone C, $181,000–$270,000 annually for Zone B, or $190,000–$284,000 annually for Zone A; eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.

What you will do

• Convert findings from offensive security assessments, threat intelligence, and incident response into actionable security initiatives.
• Design, lead, and execute strategic programs to proactively mitigate identified security risks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls and drive adoption of secure platforms, technologies, and best practices.
• Establish measurable metrics for offensive security, threat intelligence, detection engineering, digital forensics, and related security programs.
• Represent the organization internally and externally, communicate program outcomes, and educate stakeholders through clear storytelling.
• Optimize or automate manual and inefficient processes.

Requirements

• Depth of security experience and familiarity with a broad range of information security concepts and principles.
• Proven experience managing complex security programs and projects.
• Strong understanding of offensive security practices, threat intelligence, and incident response processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and communicate security priorities clearly.
• Experience driving adoption of security platforms and technologies in large-scale environments.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor messages to the audience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in security advisory, technical program management, or security solution delivery.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud-based services and infrastructure such as Google Cloud, Workspace, and AWS.
• Practical experience with a BeyondCorp model.
