Vaccine Manufacturing Automation Co-op

Location: West Point, Pennsylvania, United States of America. Onsite co-op at the West Point manufacturing site; US and Puerto Rico residents only. No relocation, visa sponsorship, or travel required.

Salary range: $39,908–$111,111 per year.

What you will do

• Complete automation projects supporting vaccine manufacturing at the West Point site.
• Use computer simulation to test proposed changes before implementation in the manufacturing environment.
• Author new and update existing GMP documentation.
• Support daily plant operations, manufacturing equipment upgrades, and maintenance.
• Interact with technology, quality, planning, validation, and other production support groups.
• Develop practical experience with GMPs, safety, environmental requirements, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business and Engineering, or a major within the College of Computing and Informatics.
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to comply with GMP gowning restrictions, including removing jewelry, makeup, and false nails during applicable activities.

Nice to have

• Previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
