Specialist Underwriting Governance

Location: Singapore, Singapore. Contract role with a 4-month duration; flexible working is mentioned.

What you will do

• Implement consistent underwriting policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with Group underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with peers, actuarial, and finance departments to develop portfolio reporting and monitor performance against the business plan.
• Provide underwriting governance training to stakeholders and monitor compliance with underwriting guidelines and standards.
• Administer the Delegated Authority framework, including central management of Delegated Authority agreements.
• Support business plans, strategy, and budgets with Product Leaders, and collaborate with Catastrophe Modelling to assess and manage exposures.
• Complete peer reviews, address identified gaps, and maintain and cascade up-to-date local underwriting guidelines.

Requirements

• Significant experience in specified product underwriting.
• Experience with insurance underwriting, policy analysis, regulatory compliance, risk management, business reporting, and performance management.
• Analytical thinking, critical thinking, communication, intentional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with administration management, financial products, customer service, and sourcing analytics.
