Network & Connectivity Solution Architect (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design and govern scalable, secure end-to-end network and connectivity architectures for CapCloud across AWS, OCI, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Advise customers and implementation partners on connectivity and integration architecture through discovery workshops, design reviews, and onboarding engagements.
• Define connectivity reference architectures, solution blueprints, and design standards covering private connectivity, VPNs, APIs, load balancing, proxy architectures, and traffic management.
• Architect and govern enterprise PKI, TLS/mTLS, and Zero Trust networking solutions aligned with X.509, RFC 5280, and PKIX standards.
• Lead Infrastructure as Code adoption with Terraform and cloud-native automation, integrating networking into CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in network architecture, cloud networking, or connectivity engineering, with hands-on expertise in AWS and/or OCI.
• Experience designing end-to-end network solutions including VPC/VCN architectures, BGP/OSPF routing, IPsec and FortiGate VPNs, AWS Direct Connect, OCI FastConnect, and AWS PrivateLink.
• Strong experience with Layer 4/7 load balancers, HAProxy, Squid Proxy, SSL termination, and reverse proxy architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, service mesh architectures including mTLS and East-West traffic, and API gateway standards covering authentication, rate limiting, and developer onboarding.
• Clear communication skills and experience presenting architecture recommendations to technical teams and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Cloud networking certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty or OCI Networking, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in capital markets, fintech, or regulated financial services environments.
• Familiarity with FIX connectivity, IBM MQ, market data distribution, and third-party trading and clearing platforms.
