Process Transformation Specialist

What you will do

• Map current-state Business Operations processes end to end, including exceptions, workarounds, handoffs, system data transfers, and regional variations.
• Facilitate redesign workshops and drive globally standardized future-state processes with local deviations only where genuinely required.
• Translate process designs into requirements for Workday, Greenhouse, and other Business Operations platforms, partnering with HRIS and system owners on implementation.
• Define process metrics, establish baselines, and run continuous-improvement cycles across HR, Recruiting, Finance, Procurement, and internal service operations.
• Build reusable process-excellence standards, BPMN templates, and a process repository while coaching process owners.
• Prepare processes for automation and AI by structuring data, identifying suitable AI use cases and human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and supporting documentation, training, and adoption.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business process re-engineering, process excellence, or operational excellence using formal methods such as Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, or value-stream mapping, with redesigns taken through implementation.
• Experience redesigning processes in at least one Business Operations function, such as HR, Finance, Procurement, or shared services.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms.
• Strong facilitation skills, including running workshops that enable senior stakeholders to reach decisions and balancing global consistency with local needs.
• Data literacy and the ability to design measurable processes and analyse process data.
• Pragmatic understanding of automation, AI workflow automation, integrations, and AI agents, with sound judgement about where they add value.
• Demonstrated change-management experience landing redesigns, not only designing them.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Workday business processes in HCM and/or Financials.
• Experience across several Business Operations functions, particularly hire-to-retire processes.
• Experience in a trading firm, fintech, or another fast-moving technical environment.
• Experience as a global process owner accountable for a process end to end.
• Experience with process-mining or modelling tools such as Celonis or SAP Signavio.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, BPM, or Workday certification.
• Consulting or enterprise transformation experience.
