Finance Intern/Accounting Intern/Audit Intern

Location: USA - NJ - Camden; most roles are based at the Camden, NJ headquarters, with one exception potentially based at a domestic plant location in North Carolina, Ohio, or Pennsylvania. Hybrid work environment: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. No travel is required, though optional travel may depend on project needs. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship or assistance.

What you will do

• Collaborate with finance teams and cross-functional business partners to provide insights and support business operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations or corrective action plans.
• Evaluate business processes and contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Support day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including reporting, variance analysis, and audit procedures.
• Contribute to projects involving financial systems, data management, analytics, and process improvements.
• Build positive working relationships across the organization and support a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Business degree in Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or Management Information Systems; a Data Analytics concentration, minor, or substantial coursework is strongly preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data and analytics to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Basic understanding of and experience with financial statements and financial planning, with the ability to apply data-driven decision-making to finance-related roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and data analytics tools such as Power Query, Alteryx, or other relevant software.
• Effective communication, relationship-building, collaboration, proactive work ethic, strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple workstreams.
• Willingness to improve tools, processes, and templates, solicit feedback, seek new projects, and contribute as a team player.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship or assistance from the company.
