Lead/Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Hybrid work pattern based from the Cork office, Ireland

What you will do

• Prepare capital cost estimates, building economics advice, lifecycle cost estimates, pricing documents, and contract packages.
• Advise on tendering procedures, contract arrangements, and amendments to standard forms.
• Develop tender evaluation criteria and PQQ questionnaires, handle tender-period queries, and evaluate submissions commercially.
• Negotiate with tenderers and draft instructions to tenderers.
• Value site progress, proposed instructions, price variations, claims, and amounts due to contractors.
• Manage contractor correspondence, insurance, bonds, collateral warranties, and final account valuations.

Requirements

• Quantity Surveying degree required.
• Minimum five years of experience in a consultant environment carrying out pre- and post-contract duties.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to produce accurate work to project deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
