Senior Business Analyst (Process & Systems Transformation)

Location: Hybrid; Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end business requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, functional specifications, and target-state process modelling.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, product specialists, and vendors to design and evaluate technology platforms and business processes.
• Drive implementation, integration, and adoption of enterprise-scale software, systems infrastructure, and hardware solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements reviews, and alignment sessions with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Establish traceability, master test strategies, UAT frameworks, and quality criteria.
• Lead change impact assessments, business readiness, training design, post-implementation support, risk mitigation, and governance across concurrent workstreams.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst leading complex business process re-engineering and technology transformation projects.
• Extensive experience with enterprise-scale platforms, such as ERP, POS, CRM, or custom digital ecosystems.
• Advanced capability in business process mapping using BPMN, gap analysis, data mapping, and requirements management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills across multi-stream project dependencies and change integration.

Nice to have

• Recognized BA certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, or PMI-PBA, or Process certification such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid frameworks.
• Familiarity with retail, hospitality, multi-site venue technologies, or PCI DSS payment system standards.
