Manager Transportation (Logistics)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end import and export transportation operations, including air, LCL, FCL, consolidation, customs clearance, documentation, and on-time delivery.
• Design and optimize global and domestic transportation networks, carrier portfolios, routes, transit times, and operational performance.
• Lead freight sourcing, bidding, contract negotiations, carrier selection, cost monitoring, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage bonded inventory, bonded transfers, processing trade operations, account reconciliation, customs declarations, and regulatory reporting.
• Resolve customs, trade, shipment, and supply chain risks while supporting audits, AEO initiatives, and trade compliance programs.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives and use digital tools to improve visibility, analytics, standardization, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in logistics, transportation, import/export operations, customs compliance, or supply chain management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in transportation operations, customs clearance, bonded material management, and trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, processing trade operations, HS classification, import/export licensing, and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and operational improvement initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• People leadership skills, including employee engagement, coaching, development, motivation, performance management, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision making.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Experience in bonded operations, processing trade, customs audits, and AEO certification.
• Experience in transportation sourcing, carrier management, and logistics cost optimization.
• Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Power Automate, and other digital supply chain tools.
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Customs Specialist, or related certifications.
• Digital capability in automation, operational visibility, and data-driven decision making.
• Project management experience across multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
