Segment Producer, Fast Money - CNBC

Location: CNBC Headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States; in-person attendance may be required for interviews.

Salary: USD 90,000–USD 100,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Develop and produce live and taped guest segments for Fast Money.
• Generate original daily content ideas and cover significant financial news stories.
• Identify, book, and pre-interview compelling guests, and arrange guest hits.
• Write copy and teases, and secure sound bites and video elements to support segments.
• Help create, visualize, and produce segments, franchises, and other show content.
• Maintain relationships with news sources and assist Line Producers with show production.

Requirements

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a live television environment.
• Demonstrated writing, research, and communication skills.
• Exemplary editorial judgment and experience producing social media.
• Ability to work effectively and creatively under daily deadline pressure, with strong professional contacts.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of how to visually tell a compelling story.
• Willingness to accommodate a demanding production schedule and work weekends and some holidays when required.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
