Agent/ Lead Agent - Customs Brokerage

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; onsite customs brokerage role.

What you will do

• Support inbound and outbound customs entry preparation, declaration filing, physical inspections, and customs liquidation at terminals when required.
• Monitor Customs Brokerage operations, internal metrics, external KPIs, customer SOPs, service quality, reporting, billing accuracy, and related accounting tasks.
• Review customs declarations, ensure compliance with company standards and Vietnamese customs laws, and represent the local team in dealings with Vietnamese Customs Authorities.
• Respond to customs inquiries, support new business transitions, and maintain customer documentation and procedures.
• Advise customers on licensing, classification, valuation, duty minimization, and related customs matters while retaining and developing customer business.
• Mentor and train team members, communicate regulatory changes, and drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• College degree or higher, or equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of foreign trade and customs, with experience in customs clearance.
• Good English skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking, including the ability to understand cargo-related documents in English.
• Good PC skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Customer service, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team under high pressure and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Proactive, honest, ethical, mindful, and eager to learn.

• Certified customs brokerage agent qualification.
