Software Engineer - Frontend

Location: Northern Ireland, United Kingdom; fully remote

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality responsive web applications for salon, spa, and medspa businesses.
• Develop reusable and maintainable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks and the design system.
• Work with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn requirements into shippable features.
• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions, technical decisions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Write clean, well-tested code and develop automated unit and acceptance tests.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, user experience, and software quality from development through deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with Ember.js or another modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with experience building modern web applications.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience building responsive, reusable UI components and working with design systems.
• Understanding of code quality, testing, maintainability, and performance.
• Ability to reason about technical trade-offs and contribute to frontend solution discussions.
• Collaborative approach to solving problems with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Proactive ownership, willingness to ask questions, and readiness to share ideas.
• Growth mindset, interest in learning, and commitment to feedback, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• GraphQL experience.
• Interest in emerging frontend technologies.
